Professional Bio

Alexander graduated medical school in Denmark in 2016. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled as a PhD-Student at the Danish Pain Research Center in Aarhus, Denmark. The PhD focused on Diabetic Neuropathy using novel neurophysiological methods such as Nerve Excitability Testing, Motor Unit Number Estimation and Muscle Velocity Recovery Cycles.
After the PhD, Alexander went back to the clinic to finish his first year of residency, as well as his introductory position in the Neurology and Neurophysiology departments.
Now, Alexander is back in research, establishing the method of microneurography at the Danish Pain Research Center. This will be the first time the method is used in research in Denmark.
