This study aimed to examine patients' ability to knowledge and self-assessment, including sharing general information on the impact of painful neuropathy among diabetes in a low-income country. The study concludes that adequate education and knowledge on the aetiology, causes, and prognosis of painful diabetic neuropathy are generally lacking among patients in developing countries.
