This research evaluated people's experiences with painful diabetic neuropathy and how religious/spiritual coping strategies are utilized to manage pain in a religious setting. The study concluded that religion and spirituality are essential mechanisms adopted by patients with painful diabetic neuropathy in a population where religious practices dominate.
