Valerio Aurucci will provide an overview of multifaceted approaches (from neural Interfaces to non-Invasive approaches) used to address current gaps in neuropathic pain management. He will introduce current work exploring pain biomarkers and applying them in a closed-loop Brain-Computer interface. This interface can detect pain in real-time and accordingly deliver a multisensory therapy combining Virtual Reality and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation.
